A few things to know before you go
Tuesday, April 27, 2027 · Boulder, Colorado
Denver International Airport (DEN) is the closest major airport. Plan on a 45 to 60 minute drive to Boulder, depending on traffic.
A rental car is the easiest option and lets you explore while you’re here. Rideshare works well too, and RTD’s airport bus (route AB1) runs between DEN and downtown Boulder.
Boulder Creek sits about three miles up Boulder Canyon, roughly 10 to 15 minutes from downtown. It’s a winding two-lane canyon road, so give yourself extra time. Please arrive by 3:30 PM.
Yes, there is on-site parking at the venue. If you plan to toast with us, rideshare is a great choice. Parking is free.
We’re planning an outdoor ceremony beside the creek, with a beautiful indoor space ready if the weather has other ideas.
Late April in the Colorado foothills likes to keep everyone guessing. Afternoons are often in the 50s or 60s, evenings can dip into the 30s or 40s, and a spring snow shower is not out of the question. The canyon cools quickly once the sun slips behind the walls.
Semi-formal, with all the whimsy you’d like. Bring a wrap, shawl, or jacket for the evening. The ceremony is on grass and stone, so block heels, wedges, or flats will serve you better than stilettos.
Boulder sits at about 5,300 feet, and the venue is a little higher. Drink plenty of water, pace yourself with alcohol on your first day, and wear sunscreen even if it’s cool.
